Admission Criteria:
The announcement of admission for MSc. in Development Studies Programme is announced in June-July of the academic year. To apply for the MSc in Development Studies programme, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of second division is required.
Documents Required :
S.L.C : Mark Sheet and Character Certificate
Intermediate Level or equivalent : Academic Transcript, Character Certificate and Original/ Provisional Certificate
Bachelor Level or equivalent : Academic Transcript, Character Certificate and Original Provisional Certificate/ Migration Certificate
The other documentation and procedure would be as per guidelines of the affiliated foreign universities.
Selection Procedure:
Students are required to through written assessment as per the selection procedure for the degree programme. This is followed by group discussion and interview, which are integral process of the selection procedure. Candidates qualified in the written assessment are eligible to attend group discussions and interviews. The final selection of candidates is made on merit basis through a compilation of scores of the written examination, group discussion and interview. International students will be assessed and shortlisted based on their applications. A telephone or skype interview will be organized for the short listed international students.
Duration and Credit Hours:
The MSc in Development Studies is a two-year programme of four semesters. Credit Hours would be based on the affiliated university.
The class timing for master’s level students will be from 4:00pm-9:00pm.
