Facilities

Security Services:
The security and good health of students and staff are of SASORD first priority. Therefore, SASORD adopts a round-the-clock security system managed by reputed national security company. Fire and earthquake drills are organised on regular basis in order to alert staff and students and avoid any mishaps in the future .
Health Care:
The college ensures good provision of health care and medical emergencies and evacuation. It will provide a list of designated hospital and physicians to all students for emergency medical support. An emergency and first-aid kit box will be available in the college.

Library and Computer Lab:
SASORD library will provide provision of electronic resources, books, online journal, articles and resource sharing mechanism with other library to support students in their educational endeavours. The college provides updated and enriched e-library to facilitate to teaching-learning process. SASORD provide computer facility with network programmes and application connected to internet, extranet and intranet.

Research and Journal Publication:
SASORD being a research institute encourages scholars to publish their research work on academics periodically in the form of journals. Before publication, the journal would be first reviewed and accepted by a panel of researchers and scholars. Journals published would be of highest quality and based on the standards of the affiliated foreign university. These journals act as a lasting and visible opportunity for scholars and students for presentation, inspection and symposium. SASORD provides financial support for publishing the best journals .

Accommodation:
SASORD would arrange for comfortable, secured and fully furnished accommodation to international students. This facility would be available based on the demand for national students. 

Career Counselling Services:
SASORD offers career counselling services to the graduates. They will learn how to develop CV, cover-letter and choose right career path. During the term of your study, you will receive ongoing support from a dedicated case manager. You will also be able to share your journey with other students.  

Students Club(s): 
SASORD has recreational, education and sports student club(s) where students can enjoy as well as build their sub-skills through extra-curricular activities and become proactive in their  lives. These clubs enhance personality of students and help them to become successful in life.
Cafeteria:
The college provides cafeteria services to the student at its own premises with delicious and healthy food and menu is changed periodically. The cook and staffs are well trained and well aware of hygiene and sanitation. The quality of food is carefully assessed periodically to ensure that food items are fresh, clean, and nutritious. Prices are kept as low as possible keeping in view the likely financial burden to students and teachers or staff. 

Transportation Services:
SASORD provides transportation services to and from the college within Kathmandu. College have its own transport for the student, staff and teachers. 

Games and Sport:
Sports are recreational activities and essential part of student’s growth.  It refreshes and energizes the students SASORD recognize this fact and encourage students to participate regularly in sporting activities. Students can enjoy various sporting activities available including table tennis, basketball, futsal, badminton, etc. SASORD provides indoor, outdoor sport facilities as well as recreational activities to the students. 

Excursion / Site visits: 
As our school focuses on both theory and practical aspects of the course, student will have opportunity for site-visit and excursion as per the requirement of the courses thereby providing students with opportunities to learn and reflect their theoretical knowledge into practice.
